University of Warsaw to launch online Polish language course for Belarusians

Belarusians living in Poland can sign up for free Polish language classes that consider the specificity of related languages – Belarusian and Russian. The course is organized by the Faculty of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw (UW) and the Open University of Warsaw.

Online classes in Polish for Belarusians living in Poland are conducted by lecturers from the Department of Belarusian Studies of the Faculty of Applied Linguistics of the University of Warsaw twice a week.

The 60-hour course at the A1 / A2 level will allow Belarussians to understand colloquial expressions and enable basic communication concerning everyday life. Currently, about 80 people have signed up for the course. Three study groups have been already created.
