The University of Wrocław will cooperate with the Ukrainian State Archives of the Lviv Region. The letter of intent on cooperation was signed by the rector of the university, Prof. Przemysław Wiszewski and the director of the archive Iryna Martens. 

The Archives will cooperate with the University in organizing training courses on the preparation of archival documents using modern digital tools, and the exchange of specialists between these institutions. As part of the cooperation, an established team will select archival materials for digitization and organize access to digital objects of cultural heritage in the IIIF standard as part of joint projects.

The partners will organize conferences, seminars and exhibitions to popularize science and the common cultural heritage of Poland and Ukraine with the use of digital technologies. They will also try to raise funds and find partners for joint projects.
