The Center for Interdisciplinary Research on the Relationships between Oral and Literature Culture at the University of Wrocław is inviting from 4 to 6 December to the international interdisciplinary scientific conference “Changes in Narrative Strategies in Context of the Specifity of the Oral and Written Tradition”.

The conference will be devoted to interdisciplinary considerations on narrative strategies in oral culture and writing culture. Prominent world researchers will take part in the event.

Particularly interesting for researchers are the issues of mutual relations at the interface of both cultures, e.g. in the liminal phase observable in ancient and medieval literature. The manner in which the narrative is conducted and its meanings also lead to reflection on the interaction between recipients and the author of the message.
