Department of Materials Science of Strength and Welding of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Wrocław University of Technology invites participants from 26 to 28 September to the 5th International Conference of Thermal Spraying and Welding „Progress, applications and modern technologies”.

It is the only monothematic regular conference devoted to technologies of thermal spraying in Poland and the largest such conference in Central and Eastern Europe. Its most important topics are new materials and technologies, properties of coatings and paddings produced by various methods and new industrial applications in various operating conditions.

The organizers also promise to discuss problems related to training specialists, certification system and quality in thermal spraying and padding technologies. A session devoted to generative technologies of metallic materials is also planned, with particular emphasis on 3D printing.
