Warsaw School of Economics to hold a seminar “Poland in the European Union. Challenges on the threshold of the third decade“

06.05.2021

On May 11, 2021, the Institute of International Economic Policy of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) is inviting participants to an online scientific seminar “Poland in the European Union. Challenges at the Threshold of the Third Decade”.

This year’s seminar in the series devoted to Poland’s integration with the European Union will be held at a historic time for the European Union and its member states. This is due to the measures taken by the European Union to counter the economic and social consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The reflection on Poland’s membership in the EU includes considerations about the changed model of relations between Poland and the EU during the current membership, and above all about the social, economic and political challenges that stand at the threshold of the third decade of Poland’s membership in the EU.

The scientists of the Institute will present the results of their research, which will indicate the main factors that will affect these relations, both on the part of the EU and Poland.
