The WSE Foundation, in cooperation with the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), has concluded the seventh competition for the award of the President of the WSE Management Board. The jury awarded best bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral dissertations on the capital market.

In the category of doctoral dissertations, the 1st Prize was won by Katarzyna Brzuszkiewicz for her thesis presented at the University of Casimir the Great in Bydgoszcz “Subjective correlates of the application of investment strategies by individual investors in the financial market”.

Jakub Grzyb, Warsaw School of Economics won the MA thesis category for his work “Assessment of the usefulness of the Fama-French model for the analysis of rates of return of shares listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange”.

The author of the best BA thesis is Milena Gralewska, University of Warsaw, who presented “Information asymmetry versus the capital structure and value of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange”.
