Warsaw University of Technology graduate’s thesis nominated in competition for best architecture degree in Europe

The master’s thesis by Marek Martynowicz from the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology (PW) was one of 38 projects competing for the Young Talent Architecture Award.

The master’s thesis ‘Renaissance of small-town living; perspectives on living and working of the creative society. A project for the transformation of the development quarters of Bystrzyca Kłodzka” was written under the supervision of Professor Jan Słyk.

The author addressed the topic of the living and working perspectives of the society of the digital age and the resulting possibilities for the development of a small-town settlement network. He set himself the goal of a meaningful transformation of the home environment and work space.

The Young Talent Architecture Award is a competition for architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning graduates who have completed their master’s degree at European universities within the last two years.
