The Rector of the University of Economics in Wrocław, Professor Andrzej Kaleta, and the President of Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej TERMAL S.A. in Lubin, Adam Siwek, signed an agreement on partnership in the development of the Lubin Energy Cluster (LKE).
The first result of the partnership will be the organisation of a conference ‘Energy clusters towards energy transition in Poland’. The conference, scheduled for 20 June, will be addressed to representatives of science, local government units, cooperatives and managers and companies from the energy sector. During the conference, postulates will be formulated to the Ministry of Climate to be taken into account in the work on the amendment of the Renewable Energy Sources Act.
LKE is a regional initiative aimed at implementing investments in renewable energy sources in Lubin and the Lubin district in order to obtain cheaper, sustainable energy and heat and to increase the energy security of end consumers.
