The University of Life Sciences in Wrocław (UPWr) has officially become part of the Baltic University Programme (BUP) network. Membership opens new opportunities for cooperation and intercultural exchange. It also means access to a wide range of courses, programmes and educational and scientific projects for students and staff.

BUP is a network of universities founded in 1991. It was established after the Cold War to connect the eastern and western parts of the Baltic Sea region. The programme responded to the need for integration and cooperation in the region, changing and developing in the face of the socio-economic and environmental challenges of the time. Today, its main objective is to strengthen the regional educational and research communities, as well as to raise awareness of the areas they cover.

Membership of the network gives UPWr students and staff the opportunity to participate in workshops, conferences and summer schools, as well as teaching programmes for teachers.
