Wrocław University of Science and Technology and the Research and Development Center KGHM Cuprum have signed a letter of intent on scientific and industrial cooperation. The partners intend to conduct joint research and scientific projects and provide assistance in the implementation of research tasks. The cooperation will also facilitate obtaining external financing for scientific initiatives.
The signatories of the letter are particularly interested in jointly implementing projects related to the safety and health of employees, modern management of production infrastructure, development of mining, processing and metallurgical production technologies.
The partners also declare their intention to work together on environmental protection, energy efficiency, the development of the principles of a circular economy in the non-ferrous metal ore mining and processing industry, the development of new and improved products based on primary and anthropogenic resources, as well as technology and techniques from the industry 4.0 area. and data analytics.
