The call for applications for the 14th National Student-Inventor Competition has started. It is addressed to students, doctoral students, and graduates who, during their studies, became creators/co-authors of an invention or a utility/industrial design which is protected by an exclusive right or submitted for protection at the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland or a relevant industrial property office abroad.

The Student-Inventor competition has been organised by Kielce University of Technology since 2010 and promotes the creative potential of Polish student-inventors at home and abroad, activates the academic environment for research and development activities, promotes and supports the results of research and development works in the commercialisation process, and increases students’ interest in seeking innovative solutions for their own business.

The five grand prize winners will present their solutions at the Geneva International Inventions Exhibition – Geneva Inventions 2024. The organiser will finance the costs of the exhibition stand and the Laureates’ travel and stay in Geneva.

The call for entries to the Competition runs until 25 January 2024.
