“The conflict in Ukraine in the light of international aviation and space law” will be the theme of this year’s International Conference on Aviation and Space Law and Technology. The event is organised by the Department of International and European Law of the Institute of Legal Studies of the University of Rzeszów and the European Law Students’ Association ELSA Rzeszów, as well as the Department of Avionics and Control of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of the Rzeszów University of Technology.

Partners of the conference, which will be held in Rzeszów on 20-21 April 2023, are: Rzeszów Regional Chamber of Counsels, Silesian University of Technology and the Institute for the Support of New Technologies in Toruń. The aim of the event is to exchange views of representatives of the scientific community with practitioners, aerospace specialists on the conflict in Ukraine.

The conference programme includes three thematic blocks: state sovereignty in airspace in a situation of armed conflict; space in civil and military aspects; and the use of unmanned systems for civil and military purposes.
