The Union of Lublin Universities has signed a letter of intent on cooperation with Lubelski Węgiel (LW) “Bogdanka”, which assumes the implementation of scientific and research and educational projects, as well as the promotion of the best and pro-innovative students in order to facilitate their start in the labour market.

The letter of intent was signed by the rectors of four universities: Lublin Medical University, Lublin University of Life Sciences, Lublin University of Technology, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and members of the Management Board of LW “Bogdanka”.

Bogdanka has been cooperating with Lublin universities for many years. There are two levels of our cooperation with the Association of Lublin Universities: educational and business areas. We intend to further develop our cooperation,” said Artur Wasil, President of the Management Board of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka.

The initiated agreement emphasises the development of cooperation between the sectors of science and business, using the scientific and didactic potential of the units, along with maximising its practical application.
