Transfer of technology from the space sector to other sectors, training of personnel, creation of new enterprises and building an ecosystem to guarantee their rapid development, as well as promotion of the Polish space sector in Europe and worldwide are the main assumptions of the agreement on cooperation between the Industrial Development Agency (ARP) S.A. and the Polish Space Agency.

On the part of the ARP, the agreement was signed by Cezariusz Lesisz, President of the ARP, and Sebastian Dębski, Vice-President. The Polish Space Agency was represented by its president, Professor Grzegorz Wrochna.

The cooperation envisages active participation of both institutions in such projects as the “Polish Space Fellowship Programme”, a series of ARP Space Academy training courses, the POLSA Competition for the best thesis, the Student Space Conference, strategic partnership in the creation of the European Space Agency’s business incubation centre in Poland (ESA BIC Poland) or the co-organisation of events promoting the Polish space sector abroad.
