The University of Economics (UE) in Katowice has become one of the partners of the 3W Interdisciplinary Innovation Centre (ICI). It is the only university of economics to join the Centre’s partners, whose main task is to commercialise inventions relating to water, hydrogen and carbon-related technologies.
The signing of the agreement for the EU to join the Centre took place during the 2nd 3W Congress, whose participants had the opportunity to listen to a number of experts, scientists, entrepreneurs and students during specially prepared 15 thematic panels.
Among other things, the ICI is involved in strengthening cooperation between the world of business and administration and the university and scientific community in the development of study and training programmes related to water, hydrogen and coal. The centre also organises seminars, scientific workshops and conferences to raise awareness of the 3W initiative and showcase good practices.
