Dominik Drobisz, a graduate of the Silesian University of Technology, won the Tauron Dystrybucja competition for the best diploma thesis. His master’s thesis is entitled “Protection automation in grid systems of the energy community”.
– Taking up the topic of protection automatics was triggered not only by personal and professional interests but was related mainly to a small number of scientific studies dealing with the issues of cooperation with the distribution network of modern local sources, using power electronic converters and energy storage. My diploma thesis contains advanced simulation analyzes and a number of comments related to the process of developing a network security system, containing many distributed sources in its structure – says the laureate.
The competition was addressed to graduates of master’s studies of technical universities especially Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering and related fields of study.
