The Minister of Education and Science awarded the Academy of Physical Education (AWF) in Poznań received the A scientific category in the discipline of physical education. This proves the appreciation of the high level of scientific and publishing activity and the effectiveness of applying for research grants in domestic and foreign competitions.
“I sincerely thank all employees who contributed to this result with their work, research, publications and implementations. Of course, we are aiming for category A +, but we are also very happy with category A” says the rector of the academy, Dr Dariusz Wieliński.
As part of the four-year evaluation of universities and research institutes, the Ministry of Education and Science assigns scientific categories in individual scientific disciplines that affect the amount of subsidies, the possibility of awarding academic degrees and conducting general-academic studies.
