Collaboration between Wrocław University of Life Sciences and the dairy sector

Eight dairy cooperatives and six universities, including the Wrocław University of Life Sciences, are participating in the Science for Agri-Food Processing programme. The project has one aim: to make dairy products tastier and healthier.

The main objective of the government project is to conduct scientific research to support the dairy sector in terms of innovative and safe production, while maintaining good environmental practices and taking into account ongoing climate change. This means direct and close cooperation with dairy companies, which is why, in addition to universities, the largest dairy cooperatives in Poland are involved.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, the project will be implemented until 2027, and each university will receive PLN 16.12 million for the task. The exception is the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, which as the project leader will receive PLN 19.4 million.
