A jubilee conference “10 years of Poland in the European Space Agency” organised by the Polish Space Agency will be held on 27-28 October at the headquarters of the Ministry of Development and Technology in Warsaw.
The Polish Space Agency notes that during this time Polish entities have managed to obtain contracts in the European Space Agency (ESA) to the amount of more than EUR 140 million. More than 300 of them cooperate with the ESA on a daily basis, of which 150 are directly involved in space projects.
In 10 years, Poland has gained access to ground and space infrastructure, cooperates with national space agencies and the largest companies in the space sector. Poland’s membership also provides opportunities for the development of indigenous technologies, significant participation in the supply chain of space projects, personnel development and numerous educational programmes.
