Council of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission nominated 10 Polish scientists for Fulbright Senior Award 2021-22

The Council of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission has nominated 10 Polish scientists for the Fulbright Senior Award 2021-22 scholarship program.

The Fulbright Senior Award is a scholarship program enabling employees of Polish academic and scientific institutions to carry out independent research or research and teaching projects in host institutions in the USA.

The call for proposals for the program lasted until June 1, 2020. 52 applicants took part in the competition. As a result of the competition procedure including the substantive evaluation of the project prepared by 3 independent experts and an interview with the candidates whose applications received the highest marks, the jury nominated following persons for the scholarship:

Dr Łukasz Binkowski, Pedagogical University in Krakow; Prof. Dagmara Hering, Medical University of Gdańsk; Dr Magdalena Urbaniak, University of Lodz; Prof. Przemysław Marciniak, University of Silesia in Katowice; Dr Barbara Muszyńska, University of Lower Silesia in Wrocław; Dr Beata Nowacka, University of Silesia in Katowice; Dr Stanisław Samborski, Warsaw University of Life Sciences; Dr Łukasz Szkopiński, University of Łódź; Dr Aleksandra Wiśniewska, University of Warsaw and Dr Rafał Zapała, Academy of Music in Poznań.
