Medical University of Wrocław becomes a member of the Polish Clinical Research Network

22.03.2021

The Medical University of Wrocław became one of the first signatories of the Polish Network of Clinical Research established by the Medical Research Agency. The launch of the network will contribute to the creation of an internationally recognized brand, a strong clinical research center in Poland.

The network will aim to standardize quality in clinical trials, to develop collaborative processes and increase the availability of innovative therapies for patients. This is a breakthrough moment for Poland as an international partner in clinical trials, which will allow many centers to operate under one common Polish brand.

The establishment of the Polish Clinical Trials Network also has a significant impact on the national economy, through the revenues from the implementation of clinical trials to the state budget, alternative savings for the health care system, an additional source of remuneration for researchers, doctors and research centers, and an increase in employment and demand for services in other sectors.
