Since 2001, the Crystal Brussels Prize has been awarded for successes in the European Union Research and Innovation Framework Programs strengthening scientific excellence and increasing economic competitiveness. This distinction is presented to scientists and entrepreneurs for innovation and contribution to the development of Polish science and economy. The Chapter awarding the Prize is chaired by Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education.
This year, the winners will be selected in the following categories: science (universities, research institutes, scientific institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences); business (enterprises); local government; non-profit entities.
The names of the winners will be announced on June 6 in Warsaw during the Gala of the Brussels Sprout Award.
