The competition for the “Pro Juvenes” Awards is organized by the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland. The project aims to promote active students and their initiatives and highlight the merits of people and entities supporting the potential of young people.

By granting the award to Agnieszka Tkaczyk, the student community appreciated her prototype of an electronic hand prosthesis, controlled by muscle impulses.

The invention will help amputees to return to normal life. The project was carried out in cooperation with ABB, a global technology leader in the field of energy and automation, as part of the 7th ABB Science Club.
