Employees of Łukasiewicz – Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals become finalists of the Lider program

Two projects of the Łukasiewicz researchers – the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals were on the list of projects co-financed under the Leader competition organized by the National Center for Research and Development.

Eng. Jacek Anyszkiewicz of the Department of Analytical Chemistry received almost PLN 1.4 million for “Development, production and validation of new matrix certified reference materials for selected non-ferrous metal alloys”.

Dr Eng. Michał Drzazga from the Department of Hydrometallurgy received PLN 1.5 million PLN for “Innovative technology of germanium recovery from the waste of the Polish zinc smelting industry”.

The Lider program is addressed to doctoral students, academic teachers without a doctoral title and doctors, including postdoctoral holders, who obtained this academic degree not earlier than in the last 7 years. Applicants could submit projects related to application and development research carried out in cooperation with a teaching or research unit.
