European Digital Innovation Hub HPC4Poland wins BDVA i-Space Gold award

The European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) HPC4Poland, led by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre, has won the BDVA i-Space Gold award, awarded for the quality and high level of sophistication of the research and innovation available, reports the Centre.

The HPC4Poland Digital Innovation Node is the first venture in Poland related to the I4MS initiative, which supports small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-cap companies in the manufacturing sector in the use of information and communication technologies. The aim of HPC4Poland is to create a supra-regional HPC (high-performance computing) hub in Poland, combining the resources and expertise of partners with the intention of making the vision of Industry 4.0 a reality.

The BDVA i-Space Gold award is given to innovation environments that meet the necessary requirements to support data-driven innovation and artificial intelligence. EDIH HPC4Poland has been ranked in the highest group of such organisations in Europe.
