The agreement concluded between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Kraków University of Technology and the Kraków Institute of Technology provides for undertaking and execution of joint research projects and innovative projects in the development of new technologies for industry, modernisation of already implemented processes. 

Cooperation is also envisaged in applying for funding under competitions from EU funds in the 2021-2027 financial perspective, strategic, national and international programmes of the National Centre for Research and Development, the National Science Centre and the Horizon Europe Programme. 

Both institutions are planning to co-organise training courses, seminars, science and business conferences and fairs aimed at integrating the scientific community with business, as well as to cooperate on opportunities for students and graduates of Krakow University of Technology to carry out internships and placements at Łukasiewicz – Krakow Institute of Technology.
