The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) is organising the third competition in the programme FOR UKRAINE. Thanks to this initiative, scientists from Ukraine can establish cooperation with Polish researchers to carry out joint research. The deadline for applications is 4 April 2023.

The FOR UKRAINE programme was launched by the Foundation for Polish Science in March last year.

“In the face of brutal aggression by Russia against Ukraine, we immediately decided to support our neighbours in the way we can best, i.e. by funding research. We wanted to help Ukrainian researchers so that they could continue their scientific work interrupted or severely hampered by hostilities”, says Professor Maciej Żylicz, President of the FNP.

The programme FOR UKRAINE is aimed at male and female researchers with a doctoral degree who, on the day the war in Ukraine began, i.e. on 24 February 2022, were working in institutions conducting scientific research in Ukraine (regardless of nationality), as well as male and female researchers employed in institutions conducting scientific research in Poland.
