More than PLN 1.3 million for the projects of student scientific clubs at the AGH University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Kraków has been distributed as part of the AGH Rector’s Grants.
A competition committee has selected the projects of AGH student clubs that will receive funding from the “Rector’s Grant” competition. 11 of 92 submitted applications were awarded strategic status and thus the highest co-financing.
Strategic projects involve initiatives whose effects will be visible in the long term. Some of the highest-funded projects include proposals that have been improved by students for several years. They include the development of a racing motorbike, which the E-Moto research club is working on, as well as the introduction of a telemetry system and the development of a solar racing boat, which the AGH Solar Boat research club is working on. For further development and the opportunity to compete in international competitions, students from these clubs will receive more than PLN 100,000 each.
