The agreement concluded between IDEAS NCBR and the Information Processing Centre – National Research Institute (OPI PIB) is of a framework nature and its details will be worked out in the course of further cooperation. 

The parties to the agreement have set the following objectives: research and scientific development. Both institutions will be involved in the training of doctoral students in the discipline of technical informatics and telecommunications; conducting research and R&D projects in the areas of software engineering and artificial intelligence; keeping each other informed about research programmes in progress and diagnosed research needs.

The cooperation between the two institutions is expected to contribute to better integration of scientific communities focused on the development of artificial intelligence in Poland. Thanks to this, more research projects in the field of AI will have a chance to be continued in the form of practical applications of the developed technologies in administration or business.
