International Civil Aviation Workshop held at Rzeszów University of Technology

An international Civil Aviation Workshop was held at Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz), attended by members of the European Aviation Students’ Association EUROAVIA International. The event was organised by the EUROAVIA Rzeszów Scientific Club, which operates at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics at Rzeszów University of Technology.

During the workshop, students from Italy, Greece, Spain and Romania listened to a lecture by the Safran Transmission Systems Poland company: ‘Safran’s climate strategy’, and a lecture by Andrzej Majka, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Rzeszów University of Technology: ‘Future perspectives for climate-neutral aviation’. 

During the workshop ‘Modern methods and tools to improve safety in parachuting’, by Dr Piotr Grzybowski, Eng. introduced students to modern methods of parachute flight simulation and safety considerations. 

Students were also able to take part in a competition for the best landing in difficult conditions.
