The Foundation for Polish Science has granted funding for the creation of a new scientific and research center in Łódź. “The International Center for Research on Innovative Bio-based Materials” (ICRI-BioM) will be constructed in Łódź Bionanopark.

This project results from the involvement of the Łódź University scientists and the support of the Max Planck Institute from Mainz.
– Establishment of a research institution in Łódź within the International Research Agenda (IRA) means bringing excellent scientific staff, global leaders in unique, interdisciplinary research to our city – emphasized Prof. Stanisław Bielecki – the former rector of the Lodz University of Technology and the initiator of the MAB’s application.
