07.11.2019

Professor Piotr Dudziński and Dr Eng. Andrzej Kosiara from the Department of Engineering of Working Machines and Industrial Vehicles of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Wrocław University of Technology won the gold medal and distinction at the international invention fair in Spanish Valencia.

They received the award for an innovative system for monitoring the subversive stability of mobile working machines on a tracked chassis. It allows detecting threats of loss of stability of machines equipped with a manipulator. This way it can warn the vehicle operator to correct drive settings or completely block the possibility of the machine making dangerous movements.

It is the only system in the world that is able to detect threats of loss of stability as a result of sliding the slope. Due to its modular design, it can also be easily integrated with other systems supporting the operator during work. As a result, it significantly improves the level of machine safety and productivity.
