Japanese and Korean studies are among the most popular faculties at the Jagiellonian University

The Jagiellonian University in Krakow has completed the application process for regular BA and MA studies conducted in Polish for Polish citizens. 

There were 8,700 places for full-time courses and almost 1,200 places for part-time courses within BA and MA studies in the academic year 2021/2022. This year the most popular in terms of the number of applicants were studies that have been the most popular for years: psychology taught at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication (1,917 people), law (1,820 people) and psychology taught at the Faculty of Philosophy (1,396 candidates).

The greatest number of applicants for one place was registered in the following faculties: Oriental – Japanese Philology (17.18 people per place), Economics (16.28 people per place) and Korean Studies (15.4 people per place). It will also not be easy to become a student of Finance, Banking, Insurance (14.15 people per place) and Japanese Studies (13.27 people per place).
