Study visits, research work, the development of good practices in cooperation with business, as well as joint training, conferences and publications are the main assumptions of the agreement between the Koszalin University of Technology and the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. 

The agreement is the result of the implementation of a special programme by the Ministry of Education and Science to integrate Ukrainian universities into the activities of European universities. The Koszalin University of Technology is among the universities that will receive a total of PLN 16 million to support cooperation with Ukrainian universities. 

The money can be used for organisation of exchanges of students, doctoral students and staff of the institution; participation in study visits, internships, seminars, workshops, training courses or intensive courses; active participation in conferences; development of modern teaching materials; development or preparation of new and innovative teaching tools and methods.
