Krakow University of Economics to hold seminar devoted to the challenges and opportunities of refugee entrepreneurship

The Observatory of Multiculturalism and Migration of the Krakow University of Economics (UEK) is organizing a seminar on April 27, 2021, which will be devoted to the challenges and opportunities of refugee entrepreneurship.  

The aim of the event is an academic discussion highlighting key research topics related to refugee entrepreneurship. It will focus in particular on the main challenges of setting up and running a business for refugees or asylum seekers and also on existing opportunities and facilities.

The role of entrepreneurial potential will be discussed, including the intentions and motivations of entrepreneurs. Finally, the topic of the pandemic in relation to refugee entrepreneurship will be discussed.

The discussion will be attended by: Sibylle Heilbrunn, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Kinneret College on the Sea of ​​Galilee, Prof. Jörg Freiling, University of Bremen and Nina Bilal, PhD student at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. The meeting will be moderated by Prof. Jan Brzozowski, Krakow University of Economics.
