An agreement on research and development cooperation was signed by the President of the Central Office of Weights and Measures, Prof. Jacek Semaniak, and Piotr Dardziński, President of the Łukasiewicz Research Network. Joint activities in the field of research and development will enable the implementation of innovative projects, as well as the development of qualified personnel in the field of metrology.

“Łukasiewicz means science working for business and is aimed at raising the level of competitiveness of Polish enterprises and strengthening intellectual capital, increasing the competitiveness of the Polish economy in areas of strategic importance to the country and developing modern technologies. This cannot be done without stimulating the development of metrology, particularly in the areas of health, environment, energy and advanced measurement techniques, as well as the development of digital technologies”, said Piotr Dardziński, President of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.
