At the request of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Information Processing Center – National Research Institute (OPI PIB) has launched the seventh nationwide system of monitoring the economic fate of university graduates (ELA).

The new data provides interesting information on the labor market in Poland. Thanks to the ELA system developed at OPI PIB, it allows to check how many graduates combined work and studies, and how many of them worked before starting their studies.

The data from the ELA system shows that more and more people starting their studies already have had work experience. More and more students also combine study with work, gaining professional experience during their studies.

“Among the graduates of full-time BA studies, the graduates of nursing and safety engineering had the most common work experience before the studies” says Dr Mikołaj Jasiński, expert of OPI PIB.
