The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) has announced the results of the 13th LIDER programme. In the current competition, 290 applications were submitted, of which 49 received funding.
The LIDER programme is aimed at young scientists. Its aim is to enhance the competencies of young scientists in independent planning of research works and management of their own research team, during the implementation of research projects whose results may have practical application and have implementation potential.
The maximum amount of funding for a project is PLN 1.5 million. Funding can be used for applied research and development work.
Applications submitted in the competition are first subject to an initial assessment and then (after meeting certain criteria) to a substantive assessment, which is carried out by at least three experts on the basis of the information contained in the application.
