Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń to implement the project “Academy of Innovation Leaders – pilot”

The project “Academy of Innovation Leaders – pilot” developed by the Center for Academic Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (UMK) received a grant from the ministerial program “Science for Society”.

The project is aimed at the academic community and the socio-economic environment of the Nicolaus Copernicus University. It is to contribute to increasing the quality and breakthrough of scientific research. It provides for the implementation of six innovative research grants with the support of experienced mentors. Most of them will be devoted to the humanities, which will have a positive impact on stimulating innovation in this area.

The “Academy of Innovation Leaders – pilot” assumes the organization of a series of trainings for students, doctoral students, scientists and innovation brokers, as well as Design Thinking workshops and meetings with representatives of the socio-economic environment, which will help in identifying areas susceptible to implementation of scientific solutions.
