The opening report of the newly established #SGH Think Tank for Healthcare at the School of Economics (SGH) was presented at the Karpacz Economic Forum. The report “Medicines, benefits, technologies. Proposed directions for change in a 5-year perspective’ is the first result of the team’s work.

The study identifies and analyses the challenges that the health care system in Poland is facing or will face in the next five years.

The report consists of three main segments – medicines, health services and medical technologies, which are the main and intertwining axes of this system. “In each of them, we have identified the priority problems of accessibility, quality and institutional environment, at the same time introducing the most important definitions, determinants of the environment, stakeholders and selected good practices, domestic or foreign,” said Dr Monika Raulinajtys-Grzybek, Professor of SGH, who heads the Think Tank.

The #SGH for Healthcare is a joint initiative of SGH and three patron companies: the LUXMED Group, GE HealthCare and Polpharma.
