Students of PRz Racing – the Student Scientific Group at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of the Rzeszów University of Technology (PRz), presented their latest design – the PMT-05 car.

The vehicle has the most advanced aerodynamic system, making it the most competitive and fastest design to date in the history of PRz Racing.

According to the students, the fifth car built by the PRz Racing team qualifies in the combustion classification with a maximum regulatory displacement of 710 cc. The engine used in the latest car achieves 95 hp, and the car reaches 100 km/h in about 3.5 seconds. The car weighs 220 kg. To achieve this goal, the team used materials such as durable aluminium alloys, titanium, Kevlar, aramid and carbon fibre.

The PRz Racing Team brings together students from all faculties, enabling them to pursue their interests. Currently, the team consists of six technical sections: aerodynamics, electronics, superstructure, engine, IT, suspension, and three non-technical sections – marketing, fundriser, project management.
