Łukasiewicz Research Network Vice President Marcin Kraska and VTT President Antti Vasara signed an agreement on cooperation between the Łukasiewicz Research Network and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.

VTT is a leading European research institution. The cooperation will result in joint proposals for research projects in hydrogen, batteries and cyber security. 

Representatives of the Scandinavian institution have also expressed a desire to cooperate with Lukasiewicz in the fields of quantum computers and microeletronics. A study visit for VTT representatives to Lukasiewicz’s institutes is planned for the first half of 2023.

During the visit to Finland, directors of the institutes and experts of the Lukasiewicz Research Network also participated in meetings with representatives of Business Finland, an organization that supports internationalization and innovation (applied research), and representatives of the Finnish Ministry of Economy.
