Polish government visited the National Center for Nuclear Research

Receiving 3 of the 13 European Union grants in the Teaming for Excellence competition for the establishment of Centers of Excellence, including the NOMATEN project implemented by the National Center for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Świerk, was the subject of a talk between Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin with management and scientists of NCBJ.

The NOMATEN project aims to create a strong research center that will conduct research and prepare the production of top-class innovative materials useful for work in extremely difficult industrial conditions and complying with the highest medical standards, using the unique nuclear research structure and experience of scientists from Poland and other European countries.

The project was prepared by an international consortium composed of: the National Center for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), Commissariat à l’Énergie Atomique et aux Énergies Alternatives (CEA, France); Teknologian Tutkimuskeskus VTT Oy (VTT, Finland).
