The Facta Ficta Research Center, the Institute of Linguistics and Literature of the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce and the Department of Comparative Civilization Studies of the Jagiellonian University are organizing a nationwide online scientific conference “Conflicts, disputes, disputes” on February 6.

During the conference, the organizers will try to answer the following questions: Do we live in a world of constant conflict? Are we participants or viewers of disputes and conflicts? What effect do similar phenomena have on individuals and groups? To what extent are we only spectators, and to what extent do we participate in incidents, we are their perpetrators or victims?

The discussion will focus on following issues: language of dispute, rhetoric of conflict; political conflicts; local conflicts, international disputes; military conflicts; ethnic conflicts; identity conflicts; religious conflicts; COVID19 – the pandemic and conflicts; education and conflicts.
