The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) has extended the call for applications in the second NCBR-Nevada Acceleration Program until1 February 2023.

The NCBR-Nevada Acceleration Program is the first nationwide acceleration activity, implemented on the basis of the Memorandum of Cooperation between Poland and the state of Nevada, addressed to companies from all over Poland.

The aim of this project is to connect the innovative ecosystems of Poland and the state of Nevada – through the acceleration on the US market of young technological companies, selected in a competitive procedure, registered in Poland. By “young companies” NCRD understands such companies, whose date of entry in the KRS/CEIDG registers on the day of submitting the application to the Centre is not less than 6 months and not more than 3 years.

Preference will be given to those start-ups whose areas of activity fit into both the National Smart Specialisations and industries that are key to the economy of the state of Nevada, such as water technologies, autonomous systems, smart cities, data storage, the mining industry or the hospitality and entertainment industry.
