Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center working on a prototype of a hybrid 3D printer

08.06.2021

Developing a multifunctional hybrid 3D printer with a real-time quality control system is the main goal of the SYGPAST project. The project is co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development and is implemented by the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center and Sygnis New Technologies Sp. z o. o

The main goal of the project is to create a prototype of the SYGPAST hybrid 3D printer enabling real-time control of the manufacturing process. The device will enable printing from liquid materials and filaments in one process and will provide the users with open access to modify printing parameters, allowing the use of their own materials.

The SYGPAST printer will be used for space, aviation, energy, chemical and materials industries, and wherever the maintenance of continuous movement of machines and their parts requires their efficient adaptation to regularly changing working conditions.
