President of the Polish Space Agency to launch competition for the Scientific Award

01.10.2019

The Polish Space Agency (PAK) is launching the second PAK President’s Scientific Award competition for the best student engineering thesis in the field of space engineering completed in the 2018/2019 academic year.

The competition is open to people who have completed their studies at Polish universities in the year of the award. The diploma theses should refer to issues in the space engineering in the theoretical aspect and practical solutions.

– Space technologies, research related to space engineering – these are difficult issues. Through this competition, the Polish Space Agency wants to appreciate those who were not afraid of the complexity of the subject. They took the challenge, put a lot of effort, which resulted in their theses. We hope that students and young graduates who have taken up the challenge of researching space issues in their projects will not stop there and decide to work in the Polish space sector – said Michał Szaniawski, the president of the Polish Space Agency.

Individual or collective diploma theses that have received a positive grade from a home university and meet the criteria set out in the competition regulations may be submitted by authors or their universities until October 30, 2019.
