Prof. Piotr Płoszajski becomes the Leader of the Digitization of the Banking Sector 2021

During the 6th Congress of the Banking Technology Forum, the 2021 Digitization Leader in the Banking Sector awarded Assistance Professor Piotr Płoszajski, Warsaw School of Economics (SGH).

The Digitization Leader Award is granted by the Chapter of the Banking Technology Forum Congress for exceptional achievements in the area of ​​connecting the banking and technology sectors, which affect the digitization of banking in Poland.

During the congress, Prof. Piotr Płoszajski gave a short lecture on the digital transformation “Banks as tribes with a customer in the center”.

Professor Piotr Płoszajski is a retired employee of the Warsaw School of Economics. In 1994–2018, he was head of the Department of Management Theory, and from 2005 to 2008, vice-rector for international cooperation.

He is the founder of the Polish-Japanese Management Center and the Responsible Business Research Center at the Warsaw School of Economics, a lecturer in many Executive MBA programs in Poland and abroad, and a co-founder and lecturer of the so-called Digital University at SGH.
