Professor Demenko becomes a honorary doctor of the Kielce University of Technology

Professor Andrzej Demenko, an outstanding scientist in the field of electrical engineering and electrical machines, the founder of a scientific school in the field of computer methods of electromagnetic field analysis and synthesis, as well as field models of electromagnetic transducers, received the title of doctor honoris causa of the Kielce University of Technology.

Andrzej Demenko received the academic title of professor in 1998 from the President of the Republic of Poland. In 2004 he took the position of full professor at the Poznan University of Technology. As an academic teacher at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Poznań University of Technology he promoted many specialists in the field of modeling and design of electromagnetic transducers.

He initiated scientific and didactic cooperation with foreign centers as part of international exchange programs, including with the Catholic University of Leuven, with RWTH Aachen or with the universities of Dortmund, Southampton, Liege and Darmstadt. He was a visiting professor at foreign universities e.g. at the University of Louisiana.


Higher education
