The National Center for Research and Development will allocate over PLN 5 billion for research and development projects this year – said Piotr Dardziński, deputy minister of science and higher education.

As part of the “Fast Track”,- the Center’s flagship program, five competitions will be provided. Their budget amounts to almost PLN 3 billion. The program is horizontal, there are no industry restrictions, and various projects are allowed to apply for co-financing.

– “Fast track” supports all those entrepreneurs who have the courage to undertake innovative projects. Those that will change the reality – said Professor Aleksander Nawrat, deputy director of the National Center for Research and Development.

Deputy Minister Dardziński announced the return of competitions within the “Social Innovation” program. The previous program brought an application allowing blind or visually impaired people to listen to alternative soundtracks at the cinema, such as audio description or the lecture version.
